Do you have a JSI or Suntwins Solar Inverter?
If you do, it is very likely it is over 5 years old and out of warranty. However, if it is less than 5 years old you still don’t have warranty from JFY, the manufacturer, as they are no longer trading in Australia.
We have never installed JFY inverters, however we have replaced a lot which have stopped working, so we can help you with this.

Firstly, look up the error code you are getting on the inverter:
|W01 No Grid
|Check the AC switch under the inverter and in the switchboard are on
|W02 Vin Overvoltage
|Voltage from panels is too high (unlikely to see this)
|E01 Isolation Error
|Water or moisture somewhere in your system
|E02 Ileak Error
|Ground fault, again probably water or moisture somewhere
|E03 Grid Fault
|Grid Voltage/Frequency is out of range (should correct itself)
|E04 Coherence Error
|E05 Over Temperature
|E06 Relay Failure
|E07 DC inj Failure
|E08 EEPROM Failure
|E09 Com Failure
|E10 DC Bus OV
|E11 DC Bus UV
|E12 Vref Error
|E13 DC Sensor Fault
|E14 GFCI Failure
It is always worth trying a reboot of your inverter, as sometimes this may clear a fault, however generally once they start having intermittent faults, they end up permanent. To see how best to reboot, check here
Any of the system faults may mean an external issue, or it may be the inverter. All Inverter faults are definitely the inverter and not repairable.
Beware of your JSI or Suntwins looking like it is working (green light), but making no power (PAC=0). Make sure you are checking when the sun is out – this is broken, and it will not recover.
